Q.

Hi Doctor, My son is 2 years 10 months old. We are potty training him since his 2 years of age. But he keeps wetting his pants, in home and in his preschool. While we ask or tell him, where to pee, he tells correctly "in bathroom, that is the good habit". But practically, he doesn't go to bathroom when he pees. When we take him at some interval, to restroom, he pees there. Is there any improvement v can do from our side? I m not sure if he is having a control problem or he is casually ignoring to go to bathroom.

A. Hi parent, give it some time and dont put too much pressure on the baby as the child is too small to completely control pee and remember to use bathroom everytime. Keep remimding every 2 hours and give positive encouragement when he does remember to go on his own.
