Hi doctor, My son is 18 months and 1 week old. he speaks only 3 words mummy, papa and bye. should I be worried? Also he is a premature child. His birth weight was 1.6kg and he was born in 33rd week. He has achieved other milestones like running, walking and understands everything

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello babies will be able to speak sentences with two words or three words of the sentence by age 2 but yes can be delayed in some babies and encourage your child and give it more opportunity to speak and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor
