Q.

Hi doctor, My son is 15 month old(DOb-9 March 2020),as per the vacination chart he has to take vacination in this 15th month. will there be any issue if there is a delay in taking vacination?As per the chart- Varicella1,MMR2 and PCV B1has to be given in 15 th month..

A. , your baby boy is 15 months old and he is due for all types of vaccinations then you can give it upto 18 months of his age otherwise next vaccinations will be delayed

A. now can take it so vaccine is very important for baby immunity . You should not delay vaccines now .can take pending vaccines by following social distancing . Flu vaccine can be given to baby and can help prevent flu . Can take vaccine from government or private setup . Both are equally effective and good . Can take extra vaccines from private which r not in government schedule .

A. hi usually it is ok to delay vaccines up to 20 days or month. so no worries please consult your pediatrician and get your child vaccinated .
