hi doctor, my daughter is 8 month old. I have doubt that my daughter is sleep a lot. I am sharing her sleep cycle... 8:40 am she awake and took her malish and bath. then she sleeps by 10:15am or 10:30 am and wake up by 12pm. again she took her nap at 2:00pm and wake up by 2:45 pm again she took her nap at 4:00 pm and wake up by 5:pm next nap at 7:30pm and wake up by 8:00pm then she sleeps at 10:30pm or 11:00pm and wake up at 8:40 this is her sleep cycle is that ok at this age???

A. Look Ma’am please understand there is a minimum sleep of 8 to 10 hours is very important for a child to take so your child is completing that sleep so amount of sleep out of 24 hours is perfect it’s better than that but the pattern that you are following is better that you try to make it two hours nap at a time because that would be enough because a child is leaving 3 to 4 times in the day small small laps the child is thinking instead of a child it takes a proper nap for two hours at a go like it’s in the afternoon that you said like that would be better for the child

A. hello normal that some kids sleep more n good at this age as growth happens in babies at this age during sleep so is absolutely Nothing to worry about it
