Q.
Hi doctor my daughter is 1.5months old.since she got cold she is refusing to sit on my lap and drink milk.she is crying as son as I keep her on my lap and feed but drinking milk through bottle.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. if the child is not taking breastfeeding or milk you have to see if the child is having any other problem or not. sometimes it might be due to colic pain or some oral ulcerations or oral thrush due to which the child might not be taking milk.
sometimes it is a possibility that the child might not be hungry and sometimes there is a possibility that there needs to be again readjustment in positiond and attachment latchment in breastfeeding position.
sometimes it can be a disease process or cold or nasal blockage also. it may be related to post vaccination pain and fever also. d

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent, this usually happens when baby's nose is blocked. So better you put naso clear drops in baby's nose one drop each nostril as that would help in unblocking the nostril and baby can drink milk easily. Good luck and take care
