A. dear mum, there is no need to wake up your baby for feeding. you should feed as per your baby's demand that is whenever baby wants and how much baby wants. if baby is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is sufficient. for healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. at one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
