Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximums 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccines fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Arpita RoyMom of a 3 yr 8 m old girl3 years agoA. You can use calpol drops in case there is temperature or if the baby is crying too much. Your doctor will let you know the exact dosage of calpol drops based on the weight of the baby. Avoid oil massage and bath for 48 hours post vaccination.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Nothing to worry as long as your baby is active and healthy. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby. If required give a cold compress on the vaccinated area. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil
