Hi Doctor, My baby is 9 month old now and he was having tear duct by birth. My baby tear duct will come and go offen. like it will be there for 3 to 4 days and then if l put eye drops and massage eye corner it will go for 15 to 20 days. Could you please let me know when tear duct will disappear permanently in babies? Thanks in advance.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if there is clear that blockage do the eye massage suggested by the doctor and if not opened later on you need to consult to some eye specialist for proper needful

s madaanMom of a 9 yr 10 m old girl4 years agoA. it is quite common problem seen among baby is approximately 75% of kids do have the trouble gradually it will improve there are exercises you can check on YouTube for that and you can help your child by massage therapy
