Q.

Hi Doctor.. my baby is 15 months old we went to vaccination today . My baby’s softspot on head is not closing . After checking doctor said let’s wait for 18 months and then if it is still not closed we will have to do blood tests for any deficiency like D .. I’m really worried . Is there anything we can do to close it normally . My baby is really active . Please let me know any remedies or what can I do to improve that softspot .

A. It Actually is normal for a child to have this soft spot closed by the age of 18 months some kids get it to early and some have it led by the age of 18 but your doctor is correct you should actually wait up till the age of 18 months and if required for that I had that you can go for a test
