hi doctor, my 4 year son frequently getting illness. now hving cough, light cold. I am getting irritation to use medicine to use. per month how many times I am giving cold and cough syrup for him. please suggest me the best way to treat my kid to get rid from cough,cold and frequent illness. thank you in advance.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time sugpportive treatment is given.
along withr that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
