hi doctor. is it safe to apply turmeric powder on middle of the head to 3 months old baby. as my mother says it will prevent him from cold.

A. don't apply if his soft spot is not closed.. use Saffron on forehead , it gets instant relief from cold, mix a few strands in milk and apply the same on forehead. give indirect steam. inhalation, increase breast feeding, do mustard oil massage
