Hi Doctor, I am mother for 1 month baby. my delivery is c section I don't have any other health issues. what are the Vegetables and Fruits I can take. at home parents are saying not to take some vegetables which makes body cold and sometimes they says don't take this vegetables it will make body heat. so always I am eating sambar only due to this restrictions. and sometimes they says don't eat this fruit and vegetables it will make pain in suture, gas formation in stomach because of my c section. I am not eating any vegetables and fruits due to this advises for a month and I don't have every to feed. when I google just they mention in high level like take fruits and vegetables which has proteins vitamins calcium like that. I don't know exactly name list of the fruits and vegetables which I can eat and which I should not eat. if I get table or list of fruits and vegetables to eat and not to eat it would be halpful I am from Tamilnadu, please share the name list of vegetables and fruits which available in South Indian food style. so that it would be really helpful. thanks in advance.

A. Ma’am I am not from south India neither do I have much of knowledge about the South Indian food and vegetables but see you just have to avoid heavy food is like Rajma Choli any vegetable which has seeds like Ladyfinger or guava otherwise other than that you can have all kind of fruits all kind of vegetables all kind of grains and pulses that’s it you just do not have to have any restriction that’s how the C-section diet also goes so eat all the fruits that’s available in your state all the vegetables like just avoid the seeded ones and the heavy ones and also you can have a good amount of proteins like Paneer you should have on an everyday basis and the green leafy vegetables are best to go for And don’t forget to have about 5 to 7 L of water
