Hi doctor, I am mom of 5 month old girl...I have thiriod problem...since from pregnancy I am taking 75 mcg thyroid tablets....still I not tested my thyroid test...can thyroid affects babys physical & mental health?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. you better do new test. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatmentIn such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion

Nope It is not going to affect your child but you need to get your test done to know as to what is the level that you are on maybe the doctor is going to reduce down the medicine or increase so please don’t continue with the same medicine you should get it checked once
