Hi doctor , I am a mother who is affected with chicken pox , I am staying isolated from I diagnosed with this. I have 3 year old daughter . so what is the chance of she can get the virus .

A. The best way to prevent chickenpox is to get the chickenpox vaccine. Everyone—including children, adolescents, and adults—should get two doses of chickenpox vaccine if they have never had chickenpox or were never vaccinated.
