Hi Doctor, I am a mother of 9 months old baby and I am breastfeeding her with solid food. Can I get Covid vaccination done? As few doctors are suggesting me to get vaccination as it is permitted now.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. no problem we can take At present there is no problem a lactaing mother can take the covid-19 vaccine and continue to breast feed the baby as the government has also given permission for breastfeeding mothers take the vaccine no problem take the vaccine . .

According to new studies government has given permission to get vaccinated if you are a lactating mother. So yes it is totally safe to get vaccinated if you are breastfeeding your baby. And even after getting vaccination you can continue breastfeeding. So go and get vaccination shot on your scheduled date and time
