Hi Doctor, Good Morning, For my 5 years old son having insect bite mark like dark black, applying maderma clear the marks. too many dark spot looks not good.

Author of questionMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hi pooja, Thanks for your suggestion. For him insect bite cause no wounds it was cleared only the problem is skin shows up like scare after wound , which looks not good. need some oinment or anything to vanish that black spot. any idea?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. check and clean the bite every day.wash the bite with cool water.keep your child's nails short and clean.to help your child stop itching, try soaking in a cool bath, or putting calamine lotion or aloe vera on the bites.treat pets for fleas.put an ice pack wrapped in a cloth or a clean cloth soaked in cold water on the bite or sting for at least 20 minutes, if it's swollen.keep the area raised if you can.take painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen if the sting is painful.
