hi doc prescribed advent dry syrup 5ml twice a day for 6 days for my 2 year old daughter. today is day3. no cold and cough now, completely cured. can i discontinue the medicine or need to complete the course.

A. good evening if it is a prescribed course I would recommend you to continue the entire course for the full 6 days period and then you should stop the medicine it is not advisable to stop the medicine in between
