Q.

hi doc my son, born at 33w, 2kgs, 6.5m now. started solids and takes only 1-2 spoons. is It ok for now ? keeps his tongue out and his thyroid levels are ok. spits out food easily as his tongue is out. please help.

A. Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk after completing 7 months you should start with Semi solid food like vegetable soup for fruits purry and then slowly move on for solid food so that the babies digestion remains good

A. hello try giving thin liquid based food in the diet and this way baby can swLLOW easimy and then try changing the consistency and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and hw will be able to guide you bettwr in examination if the same and advise tou accordingly
