hi doc My daughter is 4years 6 mnths old. She has Ecoli count greater than 1lakh. Please suggest which antibiotics should be given to treat her UTI

A. hello in this regard it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too.. cranberry are good to treat UTI so check out with your doctor

Q. My 1.5 year old baby boy was diagnosed urinary infection. Ecoli bacteria amount was more than 50K in the urine culture. After 1week of antibiotics, upon repeating the urine culture, the ecoli growth was shown as more than 1Lakh. One more course of antibiotics were prescribed. Now the medicine is finished. Now a pale yellow thick creamy discharge is coming from the penis. Is this urinary tract infection? If so, why didn't the infection stop after two courses of antibiotics?
