Q.

Hi doc, My baby boy is 6m old he is suffering from fever I'm having calpol what quantity should I be giving him.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose for this as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

A. hi it depends on your child health ,age and weight so please read the instructions on packet or bottle and give it to your child. or it is best to contact your pediatrician on call and give it as per his suggestion.
