hi doc I have a thyroid and even rheumatoid arthritis Iam taking steroids for my arthritis and sodium thyroxine for my thyroid but from last four months Im have periods twice in a month

A. Due to imbalance in thyroid hormone the periods also disturb sometimes you observe heavy flow and sometimes very less and kindly share your test reports to help you better and consult a nearby Ayurveda specialist as there is good treatment of arthritis in Ayurveda and you will not require steroids

A. Steroids: Steroid medications such as prednisolone can affect periods and make them irregular, prolonged and sometimes heavier. This is usually after long-term use of steroids.
