Hi doc, I am a lactating mother. 4 days back i had taken my 1st shot of covid vaccine and I felt feverish for only 1 day and later i was fine. But the area where the vaccine is given got swollen resulting in redness and pain. Is it common and what should i do to reduce the swelling

A. It It’s common for a child to get swelling into that area but you can always keep ice cube or cold pack on to the area where is swelling is there with the vaccination has been given it will help in reducing down the swelling as well as it will reduce all the pain in that area
