one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should bve ruled out and treated which may h..amper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.

You can feed oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, besan and beetroot cheela, idli-dosa with sambhar, stuffed parantha, pan cake, waffle, boiled egg, omelette, chicken soup, veg cutlet, veg sandwich, dalua, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, home baked atta cookies, chicken and fish curry with rice, chapati with paneer gravy and milk. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks including variety of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk and coconut water.
