Q.

Hi, Can I add jaggery or date to apple puree or any other fruit puree in order to feed my 7 months old baby. Baby is disliking apple puree alone.

A. Hello mom you may do that but try to keep the fruit with natural taste as much as possible as then later on they would get used to fruits well enough

A. Jaggery should be introduced to a baby's diet only after the age of one year. However, this may vary based on the baby's health and your doctor's advice. Paediatricians recommend that babies should not be given any form of sugar until they turn one.
