Q.

Hi all..my baby is 9 month old..I'm giving his solid food without salt and chilli powder and chillies too..when to add those spicy items in my baby food..can I give salt for him ..is this is right age..

A. after 1 yr can add, better to avoid adding salt and sugar till one year..as it will affect your baby's developing kidney.. You can give different taste by adding Cummin powder, Curry leaves, coriender leaves, ajawain (carrom seeds), cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, garlic, nutmeg, turmaric

A. Hey parent You can introduce herbs and many spices as soon as your baby starts eating finger foods (usually around 8 to 10 months) – just don't add salt or sugar to their food. You want your baby to get used to the natural flavors of food and be willing to eat food that isn't heavily salted or sugared.
