SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 4 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning Check if baby is gaining adequate weight. In the initial 3 months, babies put on about 1 kg each month. From 3-6 months, weight gain reduces to 1/2 kg/month. from 6-9 months, it becomes 1/3, and for 9-12 months, it settles to 1/4 kg. the birth weight doubles in the 4th month and triples when they reach 12 months of age. Try to feed for longer duration. 15-20 mins each breast. This way baby will get balanced foremilk and hind milk. Foremilk comes in the beginning for 5-10 mins then comes the hind milk which is rich in fats and can help baby gain weight. So always empty a breast each. Rice one cup
Moong dal half cup
Dry roast rice for a while until it turns brown in color, next dry roast moong dal for few mins.
Add 2-3 jeera and dry roast for few seconds
Add 2-3 pepper corns and dry roast for few seconds.
Add all these to a blender and make a fine powder and sieve and store in a container. This is the receipt for powder. Slowly after few weeks you can start adding every pulse a new week. After eight months you can dry roast nuts and add to this powder.
