Hi All, 21months baby having severe fever above 102 deg. I have consulted doc and had an injection for it. But after 6 hrs my baby still has fever. Can anyone suggest any treatment at home to reduce her temperature. please help meπ I am very scared about it.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. it is the season change. Temperature more tham 99 is fever. Give paracetamol for fever and can be given 3 to 4 times in a day . If temperature does not comes down in 2 days then baby need a proper examination as it may be any other infection

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Give medicine as prescribed by the doctor Viral fever can take 3-5 days. So no need to worry. Repeat the dose after six hours if fever comes again. Take care and all the best
