Hey my girl is 3 months 18 days old, she has a mild cold, can I give her steam or a nebulizer?

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in bothji the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. Yes you can give steam indirectly and also you can nebulise with saline water whatever your choice is out of the two you can give that or you can go ahead with both of them with a gap of half an hour to 40 minutes this is going to be beneficial for the child
