Q.

Hey....My baby is 2 year and 6 months due to covid she wasn't vaccinated from 9months so i let her continue vaccinated again today and know she is having a mild fever ....what should I do know ? please anyone can suggest

A. yes, give his all due vaccine.. talk to your paediatrician yo reschedule it. keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately. give pcm drops in proper dose. Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed. Breastfeed or give your baby formula often to maintain hydration of body. Give soft easy to digest diet. maintain proper hygein.

A. If there is fever give paracetamol as prescribed by your doctor. see that if there is a pain and little swelling, give a hot compress to baby. Soak a cotton cloth in hot water squeeze it and gently press on injected area. Ensure wzye risnt too hot. Also cold compress czn help baby relax. If there is heavy swelling or puss or heavy redness then immediately you should see your doctor.
