A. It seems like umbilical hernia abd it us usually seen in infants so it’s better to get it checked by your paediatrician once and make sure the baby is putting pressure while passing motion

A. It's common for a newborn's belly button (or umbilicus) to appear a bit raised or protrude for a few months after birth. This is often due to the presence of a small umbilical hernia, which is usually harmless. An umbilical hernia occurs when a small portion of the intestine pushes through the abdominal wall near the belly button. Typically, these hernias resolve on their own by the time the baby is 6 to 12 months old. However, if you notice any changes such as redness, swelling, pain, or if the protrusion seems to be growing, it's a good idea to consult your pediatrician to rule out any complications.
