Hello there I’m a mother of 14 months old baby. Can I have vodka r wine? I’m breast feeding him only during nights! Is it okay to have it? Thank you in advance

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. IT is ideal that you don’t consume alcohol while you are breastfeeding.
One drink per day is okay but you shouldn’t feed for atleast 3-4 hours after the feed.
Also if the concentration of alcohol is less in the drink then it’s more better than a strong one

Hello ma’am Yes since you are not exclusively breastfeeding the baby and your child is one year plus you can absolutely have alcohol if you want to but still I would advise you even if you’re feeding your child at night and not exclusively breastfeeding still have a moderate quantity don’t have too much
