Q.

Hello sir, when my baby was born she was fair but then we got to know that she had jaundice. After direct exposure to sunlight her complexion is very dark and it's been two month. Please help me and share your valuable advice would it (tanning complexion) be her permanent complexion or it will change change by the time? need your help.

A. if your child is comfortable and taking feeds normally and gaining weight then there is no need to meet the doctor because the skin will normalise on its own in next one or two months without any treatment

A. Thank you sir for your prompt response. just one thing, do I need to discuss this thing with the doctor? Due to lack of knowledge and unawareness my MIL put my baby in direct sunlight for 1-1.5 hours regularly for 25-30 days. When I started noticing that her complexion is getting dark day by day then she stopped the procedure.

A. kindly do not worry and gradually the colour and complexion of the child will return to normal and just continue regular breastfeeding and vitamin d supplements and it your doctor to see for any other problems
