Q.

My baby is 11 days days old and two days ago we visited the doctor who told us that our baby has mild jaundice which should go away by giving exposure to direct sunlight between 7-8 am in the morning. I want to know from others that is it safe for babies being exposed to direct sunlight? If yes, then how much time should the baby be exposed to sun and how long does it take to cure jaundice in newborns? Thank you. #AskTheExpert

A. yes mild jaundice keep baby in the morning sun for 10 to 15 mins as Sun is rich source of vitamin D it will help to treat take care follow the observing doctor
