Hello Sir My daughter is 3 yrs 8 months old. From past few days, I observed some white patches on her face.These patches are quite prominent and now i could see more of it. Please suggest.

A. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.nn some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

A. Dermocalm lotion is an anti itching formulation to treat mild itching conditions such as sunburn, eczema, rashes, poison ivy, Chickenpox, insect bites and stings. It contains Calamine and light liquid paraffin. Light liquid paraffin is used as emollient to prevent dryness of the skin.
