hello sir , My chile is 2 and half month couldn't motion from 4 days . what will be the actually readon why he can't . What should i do now...

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very common that children less than 6 months of age may not pass stool for sometimef 10 days also. Slight discomfort as well as straining while passing urine and stool is also normal. You have to just take care of colic pain as well as gas in the abdomen andf do not worry about the frequency of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.

Author of questionMom of 3 children3 years agoA. ya baby always burps . i tried suppository about 2 times after 4 - 4 days. but it is not possible na every time...Actually something is missing i think so that's why it may happen.

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom..an exclusively breast fed baby can give without potty for a week or more ..no need to worry..compulsory burp the baby after every feed and give some tummy time to baby so as to avoid colic and indigestion. happy parenting
