Hello sir my baby boy is 8 month old and he is only 10 kg is it ideal weight ????I want to make my baby healthy look like golu molu what should I give

A. Yes I'm giving semisolid 4 times a day n he use to take in sufficient amount.He was 3.7 kg at birth.I give him apple halwa,khichdi,carrot apple porridge,banana,ragi cerelac etc and still he is on breast feed but why weight is not increasing I don't know

A. Hi, weight seems to be more. Usually the baby will get double the birth weight by six months and triple the birth weight by one year. So you can calculate accordingly to your baby’s birth weight. Make sure to give five semisolid feed in a day and there should be a minimum four hours of gap between eat semisolid food and it give in smaller quantities. The baby should be healthy it doesn’t matter if the baby looks thin also. Do not over feed or force feed the baby. Feed only on baby’s demand.Write Your Answer Here
