Guardian of a 6 m old boy5 days ago
Q.

Hello, Our baby boy is 6 months and 2 days old, His weight is 6.9 kg. From the last two months his weight gain only increased only 200-250 g. I know the weight gain will generally slow down after six months, but weight has slowed down significantly when compare with the growth chart given by WHO? What can we parents do to maintain baby normal weight gain?

A. Namaste Mom In general a full term baby is expected to almost double their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months & later triple by the age of 1, You can now introduce weaning foods to the baby where you can give semi solid and mashed foods
