Q.
hello , my wife now 8 weeks pregnant we done ultrasound but there is no heart beat detected but rest of the things in scan is perfect so our gynecologist suggest us wait for 2 more weeks but we both scared about result of next scan so please help us.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. See usually By six weeks itself the fetal heart will be visible in the scan. Rarely if the dates are wrong there are chances that the scan was done relatively early and that’s why your doctor will ask you to wait for two weeks.

TAHRIMA MIDDYAGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. I also got my child's heartbeat after 8 weeks of pregnancy. it was late in my case. doc said it happens in some cases. so I also waited for 2weeks and heartbeat was found with TVS scan.
