Hello, My was born in 34 weeks birth weight 2.1kg on 19 feb 2022 she was kept in NICU for 2 days on the 4rd day doctor prescribed to test her bilirubin (report-11.1) so she was given phototherapy treatment for 1 night the other day she was discharged after 1 week her bilirubin was 17.6 she lost weight upto 1.85kg because she was not feeding well and sleepy anytime again she was given phototherapy treatment for 2 days the next day bilirubin was 7.8 so she was discharged. Now after 2 week again bilirubin is 16.8 and not gaining her weight

A. baby is. a preterm follow up with your doctor's advice feed for 10 to 15 min from each side To boost lactation take lactare tablet and galact granules add oats and meat in the diet take lots of the oral fluids maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. If your baby's doctor thinks it's necessary, you may have to supplement your baby with additional feedings of either pumped breast milk or infant formula. You can also try to pump and separate your foremilk from your hindmilk. Hindmilk is higher in fat and calories, which can help your baby gain more weight.
