Hello ! My son is now 5 months and 29 days old. His birth weight was 3.2 kg but todays his weight is 5.5 kgs. Although he is very active, We are really worried for his weight.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 years agoA. dear parent, your baby's weight gain has been slightly less. baby should double the birth weight by 6 months. if your baby is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones, passing urine more than 6 to 8 times in 24 hours then do not worry. however, keep a close watch on your baby's weight.
