Q.
hello. my son is 4.5 month old. from the beginning he is not latching my right side brest. so started pump and give right side breast milk. now 15ml 6 times I am giving and left side breast milk he is drinking. now his weight is 5.8kg( birth weight is 2.7kg). is it normal or should I start giving any formula milk.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. hello in the first month baby weight decrease and then starts gaining and if baby is gaining a minimum of 120g to 150g per week it is a good weight gain and absolutely nothing to worry about and if the baby is not getting sufficient milk you can alternatively give infant formula milk stage 1 using a b pft bottle boa free bottle like babyhug
