A. Hello good afternoon !! If baby having swollen gums it's due to teething. Mild fever, motions, red swollen gums, ear ache are symptoms of teething. Yes while having gum pain baby's reject feeding as bottle feed nipples might soothe baby gums so having bottle feed this gum pain continues for 1-1.5 months. You can express out breastmilk and feed through bottle or use nipple shield . Soothe baby's gums with your fingers or teethers to comfort and ease from gum pain.
