Q.

#asktheexperts My son is 1 month 17days old he is premature. My breast milk supply is very less, so I m not able to give him much of my breast milk so I m giving him formula milk because of which he refuses to take my breast milk, so I’m bit worried about his immunity and growth.

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 cto 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking breastfeeding. meet the doctor for weightx assessment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate breastfeeding
