#asktheexpert hello. my daughter is 5 months old. she was born in dubai and so she has been on similac gold stage 1 since birth. i recently shifted to navsari (gujarat) and since yesterday started similac plus stage 1 after failing to find similac gold here in india. she was also diagnosed with urine infection yesterday and my ped here has prescribed cefix 50mg 4ml twice a day for her. i gave her her first dose today morning. now since morning i noticed red rashes on her tummy and back. now im not sure whether it is because of one of these things that i started yesterday. similac or cefix. she has had similar kind of rashes previously when i was in dubai but they werent so much and it would come and go. please advice whether it is because of the formula, medicine or body heat. thank you.
