hello...my daughter is 2weeks old..she is having problem with her right eye..since her birth..her right eye is bit watery and yellowish discharge is accumulated inside. I had been to doctr..I was advised to massage around her eye and add drops to her eye. please tell me..is it normal in newborn babies?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Some newborns have tear ducts that are not fully developed. This can cause the ducts to become blocked. Babies with blocked tear ducts may have green or yellow mucus all day and not just when they wake up. This can usually be managed at home with warm compresses.
