Hello, my daughter is 1 yr 10 months old. But she still breastfeeds once a day. Can I take the Covid vaccine(covaxin)?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. according to the current guidelines the recommendation for lactating mothers pregnant women and children is not tghere for covid-19 vaccine so it cannot be given to these category of people so wait

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Avoid for now. It is still not known that this vaccination is safe for the breast feeding mothers or not. U can wait for some more time or till u quit breastfeeding. Also consult with your doctor for the same.
