Hello my daughter head gets suddenly hot and cool down after sometime this happens frequently don't know what to do ,she is normal in every manner ,I am giving her sponging what to do pls suggest

her birth weight was 2.5 and now @ 15 month she is 8.5 kg only

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the xwarm head palm and soles.

you have to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the arxmpit is 100f or more.
the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas which is normal.

It’s a very normal body temperature for a child so don’t worry about it if you get scared at any time when you feel it is too warm or too hot immediately take a temperature with a thermometer it will provide you a clarity if it is fever the temperature is going to be more than 99°F otherwise it would be a normal body temperature for your childWrite Your Answer Here
