Q.

Hello my daughter had cough cold and fever when we were traveling from Kolkata to Bangalore.. we consulted a pediatrician here and gave her a 10 day course of medicines. after a few days she again started sneezing and coughing. her cough and cold is almost there from past one month.. what should we do??

A. steam it will beneficial

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever whicfh needs treatmvent accordingly along with a proper hydration .
