Q.

hello,my daughter age is 6,she is having stomach ache ,took a scan in that it is written as enlarged right iliac fossa and mesenteric lymph nodes seen measuring 10*6.2mm, doctor gave MAHACEF 100 ,syrup for that so my doubt is , i want to know how serious the report is?

A. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently. There could be many reasons for this .it can be functional or due to some pathology which needs to be ruled out. Common causes are constipation gaseous discomftyort worm infestation gastritis gastroenteritis or some chronic infection . Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach paing and consult your doctor for proper examintation to rule out the cause .

Q. Hi.. Emergency please... My daughter is 4 years old. Since one month she is suffering from stomach pain and also anal pain. We consulted multiple doctors and she has been given 3 course of antibiotics. Even the ultra sound scan is also done. As per the scan report, "multiple enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes noted in the right iliac fossa and peri umbilical region largest measuring 14x7.5 mm". Later again after a week of medication also did the motion and culture test... As per the culture test report, "No pathogens grown in culture". As per the motion test report, all are nil except pH which is 6 and pus cells are 2-4. Even now she is on antibiotics but still she is having the pain... Please advice...
