Q.

Hello! My baby is 7 weeks old. He catches cold and his nose becomes stuffy. By mistake I put nasivion nasal drops 0.025% in his nose instead of 0.01%. Does it cause any harm? Does it has any side effects later?

A. it is advisable always to use only saline drops in small babies it will cause irritation If you are using anything else Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
